#FILTERDROP, created by Sasha, was launched in 2020 as a response to the excessive use of Instagram editing techniques and filters by brands and influencers to sell products. Sasha's call to action sparked a response of thousands of women that felt seen and gave them the confidence to feel comfortable in their skin and ditch the filters. Not only did it inspire the public, it enabled a policy change via the ASA so that brands and campaigns must present themselves in a more authentic and real light.
Through this movement Sasha has built up a large online community of women that follow and find inspiration in her self-love and beauty in your own skin content. On a fight against unrealistic beauty standards set, Sasha, who is a professional make-up artist, is passionate about teaching her audience how to feel confident with and without makeup. Her playful and admiring personality has flourished on YouTube where she often posts vlogs and try on hauls that feel honest and relatable to her growing audience on the platform.
Sasha has also been featured by many iconic publications such as BBC News, Vogue, Stylist and Grazia. Along with creating makeup masterclasses for brands such as Charlotte Tilbury and Clarins.
